Now to go write out my project plan. I have a feeling it will get much more detailed as time progresses, ideally in the form of object oriented code & automated metric gathering.
I'm an IT Architect working for a large manufacturing company. My main focus is virtualization and storage and directory services (LDAP, AD etc).
Right now I'm working on mapping our IT organization's services and resources. Then I am going to monitor them. Finally I'm going to dump the monitoring & mapping information in a DWH.
300 years from now or so.
